EDITING WITH PURPOSE
I'm a publishing and editorial professional with experience in Christian publishing, copyediting, fact-checking, proofreading, and editorial production.
In my current role at the Sunday School Publishing Board, I work with editors and designers to prepare adult curriculum titles for publication, managing projects from manuscript review through layout and final production.
My background in journalism and editorial leadership has taught me to approach every piece of content with curiosity, accuracy, and a critical editorial eye.

Copy Editor | July 2025 - Present
I copy edit five curriculum titles each quarter, working across multiple stages of the publishing process. My responsibilities include manuscript editing, fact-checking, proofreading, editorial collaboration, layout review, and final quality control.
Copyediting
Grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, and editorial standards.
Collaboration
Working directly with editors and designers throughout the production process.
Production
Reviewing content through layout and final blueline stages before print.
BEFORE PUBLISHING
My journalism background gave me a foundation in reporting, research, writing, editing, and working under deadline. As Editor-in-Chief of TrevEchoes, I supervised writers and editors, coordinated assignments and production schedules, and helped guide content from idea to publication.
